Bird Island is a landmark located in the Marin Headlands, just south of Rodeo Beach. This particular sign was originally fiberglass and had to be replaced. I am an advocate of photographs and designed with that in mind rather than using illustrations.

These signs reference historical photos from the park archives. Each historic image had to be retouched. Since this was a replacement of a previous interpretive wayside at Sutro Heights and we had more images from our collection, I was able to includes more photos into the layout.

This was a new exhibit to highlight Harbor Seals in the park. This interpretive wayside was installed in the Marin Headlands.

Temporary signage when it was applicable were necessary working at Golden Gate. This is one of many examples of signage I produce whenever wildlife were encroaching where visitors normally visited.
